La Tata House Hakuba is a stylish, newly furnished, modern four bedroom self catering, self contained ski chalet set in the heart Echoland.
Just a short walk away from Echoland’s shops, bars, restaurants and nightlife...and the free snow shuttle to the slopes, a 5 minute ride away.
The chalet is great for a family with kids, or a group of friends, and can comfortably accommodate up to 10 people in the four bedrooms and Japanese Tatami room.
For the winter season, the entry way opens into a lower lobby area with access to the main bathroom with full bathtub and standing shower space, large vanity unit with mirror and separate drying room and laundry space. Stairs lead up to the first floor where there is a separate toilet.
The first floor opens into a large open plan kitchen/dining area with Japanese Tatami room, and a step down into a separate living room. The kitchen has modern appliances with a gas stove top, grill, microwave and dishwasher. In front of the open kitchen is a large dining table.
The living room is beautifully furnished with modern sofa’s for everyone to relax.
Steps down from the living area lead to a large double bedroom with its own vanity unit and small seating area.
Heading upstairs there is another toilet and three bedrooms.
Bedroom 1, the family room, has a queen bed and one single bed, or the room can be set as 3 singles.
Bedroom 2 has two singles, and Bedroom 3 has a semi double bed.
All the rooms have heating so you can stay nice and toasty even on the coldest of nights.

La Tata House has a large flat screen TV with cable TV and region free DVD player.
The entire chalet has high speed broadband WiFi, perfect for staying connected with your own laptop or smartphone.
Shuttle buses are just a few minutes walk away, departing from the nearby Echoland main street for all the major ski resorts: Happo-one, Iwatake, Hakuba47 and Goryu.

Terms & Conditions
1.To reserve the property ‘La Tata House Hakuba’, please contact the rental agent, Black Bear Properties, by submitting a booking request form. An initial deposit of 50% of the booking fee is due within 7 days to secure your requested dates. Payment options are credit card on-line, or by bank transfer. Personal Cheques are not accepted. All payments must be made in Japanese Yen, and if paid by bank transfer, the guest must cover all bank charges.
2.On receipt of the deposit payment we will provide the guest with an acknowledgement and formal acceptance and lease agreement for the booking period. The balance is due 4 weeks prior to rental commencement, unless the booking is made within 4 weeks of this date, in which case the full balance is payable on booking.
3.A security deposit of yen 20,000 is also payable with the balance payment. This is a security against breakages or damages and will be returned in cash following a satisfactory inspection of the property and return of the keys, prior to your departure. Should breakages or damages exceed the deposit amount, this shall be invoiced separately. Damages less than Yen 20,000 will be deducted and the remainder refunded.
4.In the event of canceling a booking. Cancellations with less than 6 weeks notice, no refund. Cancellations from 6 to 12 weeks notice will be charged a 30% administration fee of the deposit paid.
5.Rental of the property runs from 3 pm on the day of your arrival to 10am on the day of your departure. Check-in from 3pm to 8pm, check-out 8am to 10am. Out of hours late check-in/early check-out available at surcharge of 4,000 Yen.
6.The house sleeps a maximum of 10 people.
7.Bedding and towels are included in the price of the House.
8.Cleaning of the house at the end of your stay is included, however, cleaning products and facilities are provided in order that you can carry out light daily cleaning for your own comfort. For guests staying more than 7 nights a mid clean towel and linen change is provided.
9.During your stay the client must agree to be considerate to the neighbors, to take good care of the property and its contents and to leave the property tidy and in good order. If extra cleaning is required due to the house being left in an unacceptable condition, a charge will be deducted from the Yen 20,000 deposit.
10.The client should inform the Agent of any faults, damages or defects to the property or appliances, in order that they can be rectified as soon as possible.
11.The Agent or their contractors have the right to enter the property at any time in an emergency to carry out essential repairs or at a time that is mutually agreeable to the client for maintenance work and cleaning.
12.Pets are allowed in the property by prior arrangement only.
13.Smoking inside the house is strictly prohibited.
14.The agent/owner does not accept liability for any personal injury or loss of personal belongings during your stay. You are recommended to provide your own adequate travel insurance to cover you for holiday cancellation, flight delays, personal loss or injury and medical emergencies.
15.The agent/owner will not accept liability for: - any stoppage or defect of public services to the property, i.e. electricity - any damage, loss or injury as a result of weather conditions, war, riot, strikes or other factors outside of our control.
16.Under no circumstances shall the agent/owners’ liability be more than the amount paid for the rental period.
17.In the event of a complaint against the agent/owner or the property, this should be communicated to the agent immediately, so that we can take all reasonable steps to rectify and resolve the matter. No liability shall be accepted for any complaints received at a later date.
